Jonathan (“Jon”) Wallace is a Managing Director and founder of Sojourner Capital, LLC. His investment banking career spans 30 years during which he built his reputation as an expert in M&A and capital structures. He has been an investor in over 70 technology companies and remains an active angel investor. He started two investment banks, three venture funds and served on many boards. He is passionate about the entrepreneurial process and enjoys adding thoughts and suggestions that help build corporate value. Jon focuses his efforts on the IT services and software sectors. Of particular interest are recurring revenue models including managed services, SaaS, DaaS and HaaS.

Jon received his MBA with honors from the Darden School of Business and BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Jon concentrates his charitable efforts on eye health with the Wilmer Eye Clinic at Johns Hopkins and on mental health causes. Jon, his wife, Jacqueline, and their golden retriever, Harper, split their time between their home in Northern Virginia and a beach home on the outer banks of North Carolina.
